PCNA Member University to Introduce East Stroudsburg University to the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and Cosmetic Industries at Interphex
New York City, New York ( April 26, 2005) Dr. Charles Adair, Chairperson of Biology at Farmingdale State University, and member of the PCN Alliance, will be introducing East Stroudsburg University to the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and Cosmetic Industry at the Interphex Trade Show.
East Stroudsburg University had recently broken ground to build a science and technology center on their campus. This effort is under the direction of Dr. Isaac Sanders, Vice President of the foundation for University development at East Stroudsburg University. East Stroudsburg University will also be the home of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the PCNA.
The Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Nutraceutical Alliance (PCNA) is a group of business professionals seeking to promote our industry, to educate our members, affiliated organizations and the public, about the critical role that Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, and Dietary Supplement Process Manufacturing plays in the global economy. Formed on Long Island in 2004 the group has continued to increase their membership and their relationships with industry and educational institutions who work and offer education programs in these fields.
Farmingdale State University of New York offers a Bioscience Curriculum that provides an in-depth training in five different concentrations. One of these concentrations, Biopharmaceutical was developed in consultation with the members of the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Nutraceutical Alliance and is designed to prepare its graduates for employment in the biopharmaceutical field.
